Clean Cell Phone

January 20, 2006

Because I am not all that bright, I washed my cell phone in the washing machine this morning. It is now broken. At least it was a free one–wouldn’t I have felt stupid if I would have gotten one of those $700 cell phones. Of course, if I paid $700 for a cell phone, I’d probably have it in a locked display case in our mansion (because I’m not paying that much for a cell phone unless I’m living large).

Anyway, I just thought I’d share. Now I get to remember what it was like before I had a cell phone.

Also, the Girl Scout Cookie sale is well under way and I’m helping a little girl named Teresa sell her cookies. We went out selling this afternoon and she’s now up to 133 boxes sold 🙂 I’m very proud of her hard work.

  1. LOL…For some strange reason that makes me feel good! That seems like something I’d do. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in my forgetfulness! As for the Girl Scout cookies…WOW! That is pretty impressive. LOL…you washed your cell phone….yeah, even I haven’t done that yet! 🙂

  2. My group is obsessed with cell phones. I guess I don’t like them because I have always been afriad to call people. Plus bills are not attractive to me. Sorry you washed your cell phone. Will you get a free replacement. 🙂

  3. That’s why I couldn’t get a hold of you the other day! Silly Becky. Anyways, I hope you’re having a great day!
