My husband is much better at keeping track of pictures than I am. I tend to take pictures (if I can remember my camera and then remember to use it) and then just put them in the computer. Often, I upload them to my snapfish (formerly yahoo!) account. But that’s about it.
Jason likes photo albums. Here are some photo albums that contain pictures from the time we met to a little after our honeymoon:
So the other day, Jason finally decided to go ahead and order the pictures from snapfish. He ordered 476 pictures. They came in a great big box…and all out of order (what is it with snapfish and out of order?). So he spent yesterday organizing the snapfish order plus the Mr. Coffee box.
Every flat surface of our home had pictures on it. He had a system for organizing them. Often he would ask me a question like: “Do you remember when we went to the lake with the Chumblers?” “Do you remember taking Kassie and Jonas to Community Park?” He wasn’t asking if I had the memory–he wanted the exact date for stacking purposes. He was trying to get the stacks of pictures in exact order.
He finally got the pictures we had sorted and then realized that we’re missing a lot of our pictures. So then I had to upload a bunch of pictures onto snapfish so that he could place another huge order so that we can have another picture sorting day in a week or so…
