NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo = National Novel Writing Month

The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 WORD (my first draft said “page.”) novel between November 1 and November 30. According to the website, the goal is output, not quality. That’s probably my kind of novel.

NaNoWriMo happens every November. I have had friends participate in it before and that makes me jealous. I want to spend all of November writing a novel.

But, alas, I don’t have time for that.

So instead, I’m going to use November to try to blog daily (well, picture entries are allowed on the weekend). In fact, in writing this blog, I discovered the site for National Blog Posting Month! Last winter/spring I was on a pretty good writing streak and updated my blog each week day. I’d love to get back to that.

So, happy November! Let me know if you do NaNoWriMo!
