I have been a bad blogger lately! I haven’t been updating at all–haven’t even thought of it! The end of the school year just fills up so fast. But now that the Brownie Banquet is over (Thursday night), my schedule is beginning to open up a little more. We’ve also had our Brownie Cookie Celebration Sleepover, our children’s choir dinner theatre, our end of the year party for our After School Ministry, our School’s Out Bash for Youth Group, and all of the end of the year stuff for 8th graders (we don’t have any graduating seniors this year–strange but true).
That’s not an excuse–it’s a reason 🙂
Jason and I went to see the DaVinci Code last night. It’s a long movie (about 2 1/2 hours) and I didn’t think it really lived up to the hype, but it was entertaining. They took out the “this is based on fact” thing at the beginning of the movie, and they seemed to stress the fact that it was centered around a “theory” more than the book (which I think treated the “theory” as fact). Anyway, we went to the 10:30 showing (after dinner at O’Charlies) and neither of us turned into a pumpkin before we got home at 1:30–amazing! I can’t remember the last time we were out that late…does that mean we’re getting older or more responsible?
Here are some pictures from the children’s choir dinner theatre:
