#EmptyShelf Challenge Book #5: Lethal Legacy

January 30, 2014

lethal legacyI’ll be reading a lot of fiction this year (well, at least the first half of this year), so I had to throw in a book by one of my favorite crime and suspense authors.

Book Title: Lethal Legacy

Author: Linda Fairstein

Started: January 18, 2014     Finished: January 30, 2014

Number of Pages: 372    Total for 2014: 2,394

What it’s About: Old rare books and maps, the New York Public Library, and a string of murders and mystery that takes District Attorney Alexandra Cooper, as well as Detectives Mike Chapman and Mercer Wallace, on an adventure through behind the scenes library life in New York City. Alex Cooper is Fairstein’s hallmark character and I’ve read several of her books. I found this book to be one of the more interesting stories about the main character’s work as a D.A. and amateur detective.

Why I Read It: I love the author and have fallen behind on this series. If you like mystery and suspense, you’d probably like her too.
