My Favorite Smell

It’s a big step, I know. But I think I’m ready.

I am at the point in my life when I think I can finally say that I have a very favorite smell.

I love Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena! It is the best smell ever! I bought the shampoo and conditioner today because it was on sale. I also bought some body wash, shimmer lotion, and antibacterial soap. Also all on sale.

Let’s see…also I went to a meeting in Hopkinsville, did our bi-monthly grocery shopping, made Mexican haystacks for dinner, and administered 3 practice spelling tests. Jonas still can’t spell “kind,” but in all fairness, it does sound like it starts with a “c” and if you weren’t so much older, you might think it was “c” too. I hope he’ll remember the right way tomorrow. It was getting too late so we had to just let it go.

This weekend is the Club 345 (3rd-5th graders–catchy, eh?) Swim Party at the Floyd’s house. We’re eating and swimming from 11-3! Pray for good weather!

I may know how to spell kind, but I do not know the following:

What are Mexican haystacks?

What is Verbena?

I like that scent as well. That is one they have in our teacher’s lounge bathroom at school. Still, in my book, nothing will ever compare with the the light, clean scent of good old Downey. Ahhh….April fresh!

Verbena is a kind of flower, I think.

Mexican Haystack: Fritos, taco meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, etc. Pile it all up and enjoy!

Yes, Downey is nice…but not as nice as CLV.
