It’s Wednesday morning! I’ve been up for three hours since we knew that Jonas was arriving early this morning (he got here about 6:30). Jason always leaves around 5:30 on Wednesday mornings because he washes the windows at Cracker Barrel every week and he has to get there early–before the booths fill up. When Jonas arrived, he mumbled something barely coherent and stumbled to his room and fell on his bed. I tucked him in and started working on my second cup of coffee.
I didn’t sleep so well last night. Jason couldn’t sleep and he thinks that since we’re married, I should suffer with him. He said, “Hey–you’re still awake, right?” or “I still can’t sleep!” like every five minutes. Nevermind that I was able to sleep. Finally, I suppose, my own exhaustion won out because I stopped hearing him after awhile.
Did you know you can get a free roast beef sandwich at Arbys today? I just saw it on the news. I think it’s strange what qualifies for news. Either way, go get your free sandwich (I just checked and you have to buy a soft drink to qualify).
Congratulations to the Rolling Hills Stables Fillies for winning their very first softball game last night! They’ve lost every game this season, but they won their tournament opener–which means that they’re Filly fast when it counts (I think there’s only one Filly that reads this blog, but I thought I would throw that in)!
It’s thundering here. This means that our dog goes into spastic mode. He tries to crawl under anything he can and licks his paws and pants nervously. Every time it thunders, he wimpers and shakes. Anyone else have this trouble? With your dogs, I mean–I’m guessing none of you wimper and shake and lick your paws when it storms.
So this post is the perfect example of why I usually just post pictures. Hope you’re all having a great morning!
